Pantokrator (Greek) ~ Ruler of All~ this is the 'icon of icons'. Christ the Word holds the Word. His gesture of blessing speaks of His being two natures yet one Person, and that the Trinity, though three, is one. The letters in His halo show Him as 'the Being', the great 'I AM'. The letters IC XC are the abbreviation of Jesus Christ in Greek.
The image is mounted onto wood. Intended to hang on the wall or stand upright. The plaque measures 21cm high by 16cm wide. Made at the Studio of John the Baptist, New Zealand.
