Description

This is a very beautiful ornate crucifix whose images provide much for meditation.

The main meditation is obviously drawn from the Body of Jesus in death on the cross.  On each of the four ends is an image that relates to this great sacrifice.

We have God the Father at the top of the cross, who gave His only Son for us.  God the Holy Spirit is directly behind the head of Jesus.  Our Blessed Mother in prayer is at one arm’s end and a praying angel at the opposite end.  Beneath the feet of Our Lord is a Chalice, in which is contained the Precious Blood shed for us.

Suitable for Rosary making, a pendant or a beautiful addition to a prayer place.
