Description

This famous Marian medal is known familiarly as the Miraculous Medal.

Given by Our Lady herself to a French Nun, Sister Catherine Laboure.

The Blessed Mother wanted it to be hung around the neck of those who accept it.

It is a sign of our love for the Mother of God and our hope and trust in Her protection.

The words around the circumference of the medal are  “Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee”, a beautiful prayer in itself.

The medal stands approximately 2.2cm high.
