The chaplet has red, droplet-shaped beads, with seven medals depicting seven times the Lord’s blood was shed, with a picture of an unborn baby on the reverse side of each.
The main medal is droplet shaped with an image of the apparition Sister Lucie received on 13 June, 1929, in her convent at Tuy, Spain. In this vision she saw the most Holy Trinity and Our Lady of Fatima. The words Grace and Mercy flowed from Our Lord on the Cross. In this apparition Our Lady said ‘The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.’
Let us pray this little Chaplet to make reparation for the sins against Life – God’s gift to man – in order to atone in some small measure for the sin of abortion.
Let us also pray for the Holy Father – Pope Francis – that he will be strengthened with grace from the Holy Spirit to heed Our Lady’s very important warning to action what God requires of him.
