Description

This is a simple but attractive Holy Communion Pyx.

The Pyx is a very important little receptacle as it houses the Body and Blood of Christ under the appearance of the sacred Host, consecrated in the Mass.

The Sacred Host is conveyed in this way to the sick and is a great spiritual comfort and blessing for them as they may unable to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

This particular Pyx has a very simple and reliable locking/unlocking mechanism ensuring that the sacred contents will not be accidentally lost due to a struggle to open or close it.
