This light-weight plastic rosary encompasses two very important Sacramentals – the Rosary and the Brown Scapular.

Both given to us all by the hands of the Blessed Mother herself.

The Brown Scapular in its original form is made of wool and is to be worn around the neck.  This little Rosary of brown cord and small red plastic beads introduces you to the concept of wearing the Scapular along with the Rosary – both powerful spiritual weapons for our own salvation and that of others.

It is always beneficial to wear a rosary for practical use (reciting a decade or two) and as a witness to those who see it on our person.  In addition, one may evangelise not only about the importance of this beautiful prayer which speaks of Mary and meditates on Christ, but also of the relevance of the Brown Scapular.  For, Our Lady promised that those who wear this Scapular and honour her personage, “shall not suffer eternal fire”.

All in all, a real treasure on a cord, which speaks loudly without uttering a sound.
