Description
Another one of the Church’s famous men who needs no introduction. On March 17th each year, this Saint is remembered by the Irish (and those who wish to be numbered among them) around the globe.
St Patrick became known as the “Apostle of Ireland” around the second half of the fifth century. His missionary endeavours converted an entire people and from this small nation went forth great men and women taking the Gospel to other corners of the world.
On the reverse of the card is written a beautiful verse/prayer entitled Hail, Glorious St Patrick.
……..”Our thought be of Jesus, our heart be His shrine. And when to the end of life’s path we have trod, be near us great Bishop, annointed of God.
