This is a really beautiful case containing all the essential luturgical items for visiting the sick.

It is called a Viaticum case, from the Alpha and Omega range, Salvardi, Italy.

Within the zipped red and gold receptacle (case) there is a lovely crucifix (fashioned on the style of that which Pope John Paul II carried)

a pyx (24K gold-plated)and a  corporal cloth.
