Description

The Ciborium – A sacred vessel employed during distribution of Holy Communion in the Mass and also for the reservation of the Sacred Hosts in the Tabernacle.

This lovely specimen is simple and elegant.

The lid is surmounted by a ‘gothic’-styled cross within a sphere.

The ‘dimpled’ stem is  visually appealing and provides a contrast to the smooth ‘bowl’ of this Italian-made Ciborium.

The quality can be both seen and felt in this beautifully crafted piece.
