Description

This is a really exquisite  18 Karat gold-plated Miraculous Medal on a ‘gold’ chain.

It has a bevilled edge and the image of Our Lady is quite defined. We have sold many of these and the quality is first-rate , the size is just right at 20mm -not too big or small .

A really lovely medal ideal as a gift for any devotee of Our Blessed Mother and especially treasured as a gift given by Our Lady herself to a French nun, Catherine Laboure in 1870.  Our Lady asked that it be worn around the neck.  It became known as the Miraculous Medal due to the many miraculous cures that took place at the time for those who wore it.

There is an inscription around the circumference of the medal “Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee”.  

As it is a very simple little prayer to remember, it should be recited regularly.

A very special medal that every Catholic should wear as a sign of devotion to the Holy Mother and as a means of personal protection in this life.
